I was listening to the Ten Percent Happier podcast yesterday with Roshi Joan Halifax, and it left me in tears. Not necessarily sad tears, but tears of empathy. We are in a radical state of uncertainty, and what matters right now is love. Grief teaches us how much we love.
In this time, there's a lot of opportunity to make lemonade, and I love how businesses have adjusted their mission and heart to these times. When all events were canceled, an event venue in northwest Washington, Faber Farm, decided to start an online workshop series featuring local talent.
As part of the workshop series, I did a virtual cooking class--Travel from Home with A Taste of Israel. All of the recipes can be found on my website, just search for each recipe. I hope you enjoy it!
I love when I see an email from a friend, and that’s how I think of you. I hope you feel the same. In my newsletter, I share the kinds of recipes and stories I used to blog about. You’ll get the recipes I’m cooking for my family as well as anything else I think might bring more connection or more joy.
